Hawks Captain Jonathan Toews hoists the cup in victory First and foremost Congratulations to the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on their great season and amazing ending. Being the big hockey fans that team KARMA is, this weekend is going a tough one. The Blackhawks Stanley Cup parade will be this Friday, starting at 10:30am and we have this "thing" called a regatta that starts at the same time about 8-10 miles East/Southeast from where the victory parade will end up. Yes we'll be one of the 250+ sailboats 'with the pretty sails" racing out on Lake Michigan. The CHICAGO NOOD regatta starts this Friday. "KARMA" USA-55367 a Beneteau First 36.7 will be racing in the 102nd Running of Chicago Yacht Club's Race to Mackinac presented by Veuve Cliquot Champagne. Race Tracking will be available on on all boats (yay!) and is provided by Ion Earth. The First 36.7 Section will start at 12:40pm on Saturday July 24th from the starting area just outside of the Chicago Lighthouse Harbor. The Parade of Boats is available for our 'Land Fans' to watch from the end of Navy Pier. We hope to pass by in the Parade around 10:30am to 10:45am. Owners Lou Sandoval, Jack Buoscio and Martin Sandoval welcome back returning crew members Steve Mathias, Cristina Cordero-Chadwick and Seth Morrell who have all been members of Karma's successful MAC campaigns in '04, '05, '06, '08 and '09.
